Sixties Little Blue Dress
Cuando empieza el calor, una de las cosas en las que pienso a la hora de vestir es estar cómoda para poder hacer todas las gestiones diarias y a la vez aportar mi toque personal. Por eso este Little Blue dress (LBD) retro es uno de mis favoritos en verano. Me lo regalaron hace unos cuatro años en Barcelona, cuando abrió la tienda de & Other Stories en Passeig de Gracia, y se ha convertido ya, en un imprescindible en verano. Es un vestido muy versátil que tanto puedo llevar con un tacón y un bolso más arreglado, como con unas sandalias más cómodas. Muchas veces oímos hablar de LBD (Little black dress), que es un básico, aunque en verano el negro es un color que evito porque -sobre todo de día- es un color que atrae mucho el calor y prefiero tonalidades azules, que son también muy favorecedoras para las que tenemos piel fría.
El bolso acolchado es un bolso vintage de mi madre, de los 90. Las gafas son también de & Other stories y son de la temporada pasada, aunque he visto que siguen este año en tiendas.
Con respecto al maquillaje, muy natural -un look de día- con un poco de protección solar y polvos de sol, en este caso los espectaculares Terracota Terra magnífica de los que os hablaré muy pronto.

When the heat arrives, one of the things I consider when choosing my outfit, is to be comfortable to do all the daily tasks and at the same time bring my personal touch. So this Little Blue dress (LBD) is one of my favourites for summer. The dress was a gift that I received four years ago in Barcelona, when the shop & Other Stories was just opened on Passeig de Gracia. After that moment this dress became a “must” in my summer closset. It is a very versatile dress both can be worn with a heel and a more formal purse, or with a more comfortable sandals. Many times we hear about LBD (little black dress), which is a basic, but in summer the black is a color that I avoid because -especially during the day- attracts much heat so I prefer blue hues, which are also very flattering for cool skin tones.
The quilted purse is a 90s vintage bag that my mother gave me. The glasses are also & Other stories and are last season, although I’ve seen them still at the store this week.
Regarding makeup, very natural look with sunscreen and bronzer, in this case the spectacular Terracotta Terra magnificent of which I will speak very soon.
